Nyleta Wallace, a Georgia native, has been with Georgia State Parks since August 2011. Prior to that she was the Manager of New Initiatives with Camp Twin Lakes. Her career has almost exclusively been in strategic development and implementation. From developing a revolutionary recreational therapy curriculum in Granite School District in Salt Lake City, Utah to building 25 new capacity-building programs with Camp Twin Lakes with a focus to reach more underserved populations, to today, where she juggles the many hats of being the Volunteer Program Manager for the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. She craves challenges and loves planning for the future. She, her husband, and their dog reside in Midtown Atlanta.
