Chartered by Rotary International in 2012, the Rotaract Club of Atlanta is one of Atlanta's; premier organizations for the development of young professionals. Through professional development, community service, and social activities, the Rotaract Club of Atlanta offers a multi-dimensional approach to networking and giving back to the Atlanta community. Prominent guest speakers are featured at bi-monthly meetings, providing unique enrichment opportunities for club members to gain a personalized perspective on key current issues in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Community service activities offer a chance to become directly engaged in helping foster an attitude of service while supporting charitable causes. Social events bring members together in a wide array of fun activities that build lasting friendships.
The Rotaract Club of Atlanta strives to adhere to the principles of Rotary International. The foundational principles of the club guide it in an effort to achieve "Fellowship through Service." The Rotaract Club of Atlanta welcomes civic-minded young professionals who want to develop professionally and become agents of change for their community.
The club is for college educated young professionals aged 21 to 30. To become a member of the club, you need to attend at least two club meetings and participate in a minimum of one community service event. After you have fulfilled the requirements and the board has approved your membership application, you can be inducted as a member at the next club meeting. You are given a membership pack that includes a lapel pin, t-shirt and detailed information about how the club operates. Once a member, you can get involved in the organization and running of club events. The annual club membership dues, which covers administration and meeting expenses, is currently $100
